I find Bristol a great place to be based as a photographer for a variety of reasons. We seem to get a good share of sunny mornings even when the rest of the country is dull. This makes walking my dog on the Downs in the morning a real pleasure... I saw the first frost of the year on Saturday. I am thinking I will take some early morning pictures over the coming months and put up a little slide show. As a professional photographer I have always used the best equipment on the market. This of course yields an excellent result but I just might try a mobile phone approach for a bit of fun and see what happens...it will be a little challenge to myself. 

Another joy of living and working around Bristol has been the appreciation I have received for my recent exhibitions and being part of The Bristol Festival of Photography. It seems Bristol people enjoy looking at photographs and have a genuine interest and some even buy :) . I will be going to Canada for a visit soon and plan to take some new photographs which I will include in my next exhibition....venue is yet to be confirmed.
